Overview

SUMMARY

 

Ensures that all cards are properly accounted for and in top condition for use. Ensures that table games have the proper cards/equipment at the proper times.

Hourly Compensation: $17/hour

Qualifications

REASONING ABILITY   

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.

  

LANGUAGE SKILLS  

· Able to read, write and speak English.  

· Ability to express complex concepts in a clear manner.

  

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS  

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gardena Police Department City issued Casino Work Permit.

  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS  

· Must be able to lift to 15 lbs.  

· Stand for long periods. 

· Repetitive hand motion.  

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT  

· Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions.  

  

WORKING HOURS:  

Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require Team Members to be available evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Position may require overtime. 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES  

 

· Responsible for the security of inventory and equipment.  

· Check for irregularities, replace cards (if needed), clean, verify by color, place in a box, label, and stock for use.  

· Ensures that ALL cards are collected at all times.  

· Ensures all cards/equipment leaving Card Control are scanned and tracked properly.  

· Assists co-workers (Gaming Department). 

· Responsible for all decks: shuffle promptly, place in the vault with a receipt, and seal. 

· Other work related duties assigned by Supervisor.  

  

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  

· Must be at least 21 years of age.  

· Knowledge of playing card suits.  

· Basic computer skills.

  

EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING

  

· High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
